Variable spring hangers
Our variable load supports are spring devices used to hold up pipes and equipment subject to thermal expansions.
The load carried by the supports varies as the spring compresses or extends according to the movements of the application point.
Our variable load supports are differentiated by the the way they are fixed to the load bearing structure.
Constant spring hangers
Constant hangers are spring devices used to hold up pipes and equipment subject to thermal expansions.
They have a constant reaction along the whole range of vertical movement, hence the load on the application points remains equal despite substancial displacements.
They are employed when the vertical movement is significant and therefore the use of variable load supports would cause strains higher than the admissible values.
